Sangie started agility in 2008 with her lab learning the basics about agility. A few years later an amazing border collie came into her life. As she started competing with Vette, her passion for agility was truly realized. She has competed at AKC Nationals many times and made finals many times. With Vette, she won all 4 rounds at one AKC Nationals. Vette and she had the honor of representing the USA on 2 AKC European Open teams, USDAA IFCS, and UKI WAO team. At the 2017 WAO, Vette was a gold medalist winning the 24” Pentathlon event.
After all the amazing friends and experiences agility had brought into her life, she decided it was time to give back to the agility world by becoming a UKI judge in 2018. She has judged the US Open twice and many Cups and Classics.
In 2022, she became an AKC judge. Sangie has judged over 50 shows throughout the US over the past 4 years. In 2025, she judged the AKC ISC National Championship.
When not competing or judging UKI or AKC, you will find her at my day job as a Director of Global Support Operations for an accounting software company. She currently have three border collies, Creed, Krome, and Dexter.
