The left side of the parking lot at the host hotel is reserved for RV camping. Camping is dry with no hookups, but you may set up X-pens.

Lake Shore RV Resort, 1233 E Interstate 30, Garland, TX 75043, (469) 661-3827. Lakeshore is 13 miles (a 16-minute drive) from the host hotel.
All streets and 192 sites are concrete with electric, water, sewer, cable and Wifi — 91 back-in sites (14 being waterfront sites) and 101 pull-thru sites. They also have 5 brand-new cabins for rent. Lake Shore RV Resort is open for nightly and weekly stays. The Activity Building includes laundry facilities, a computer room, a workout room, two TV viewing areas, an outdoor observation deck, & outdoor BBQ areas as well as a Beach Access Pool with hot tub. The resort has 1 dog bath station, 2 dog runs, and a dog park.
Note: They do not permit X-pens. Their rules state: No dog fences, pet pens, crates, or unattended tethered pets. Pets are to be up to date on all vaccinations. No canopies or animal tethers are to be staked into the ground due to irrigation lines and underground utilities.
